MCK-22HD SERIES

Designed mainly for retrofit applications. This hinge is applied to the exposed surface of the door and frame. It may also be used for new construction including new door and frame, new door with existing frame, existing door with new frame or existing door with existing frame.

• Extruded 6063-T6 aluminum alloy/temper with pinless assembly
• Special hinge reinforcements are not required. Hollow metal door and frame manufacturers' standard is acceptable. Removal of hinge reinforcements in the door and frame is not advised. If hinge reinforcements are left in place, hinge fillers are needed before installation of hinge.
• Frame Portion: all fasteners are Custom #12-24 x ¹¹/₁₆" FHUC, Type C, self-drilling screws
• Twelve Screws are required for frame leaf (83" hinge). Wood screws are available on request
• Door Portion: requires four 1/4-20 x 15/8" Thru-Bolts per hinge and four 1/4-20 x 1" PCH Shoulder Bolts. Six Pan Head Self Drilling #12 x 3/4 required per hinge (on 83" hinge)
• Available in custom lengths (specify handing and length in inches) and custom finishes (consult factory for availability)
• Hinges are guaranteed for the life of the opening
• The Molex connectors or electrically modified hinges are guaranteed for five years
