As such, these products require training and certification for resellers and integrators to ensure proper product selection, successful deployment and customer satisfaction.

To aid our customers in this area, ASSA ABLOY has created two programs that provide the necessary training to sell, order, install and service our technology products, including Aperio wireless, Integrated Wiegand, IP-enabled and self-configurable intelligent components:

  • • The Authorized Channel Partner (ACP) program is open to resellers, who sell ASSA ABLOY's technology products to certified integrators and help with product selection based on the application.
  • • The Certified Integrator (CI) program provides hands-on training for security systems integrators and network administrators.

Not only does this training familiarize certified integrator candidates with product features and applications, it also gives them valuable experience installing, commissioning and troubleshooting the products in a real-world environment.

The Corbin Russwin Access 800® IP1 is an intelligent Power over Ethernet (PoE) solution that integrates all standard access control components – including ANSI/ BHMA Grade 1 Corbin Russwin hardware, contactless reader, and door status monitoring and controller into a single device.

The Access 800 IP1 PoE lock uses a single ethernet cable for both power and data, eliminating the need for any additional power supply or electrical wiring. It uses existing IEEE 802.3af PoE infrastructure to streamline the installation process, reduce costs, enable real-time communication, and minimize power consumption.

Using the Local Area Network and HID® 125 kHz proximity or 13.56 MHz iCLASS® credentials, the Access 800 IP1 offers complete access control features such as built-in door status monitoring and real-time configurable alarm notifications. Local decision making ensures operation regardless of network status.

Programming and security management is performed utilizing the ASSA ABLOY Lock Management Tool (LMT) or a third party access control system. All products utilize a microprocessor based controller with non-volatile memory to preserve user and transaction information.

The Access 800 IP1 is offered in ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 cylindrical lock, mortise lock and exit device configurations with a variety of finishes and lever styles for a consistent design aesthetic throughout your facility.

Overview

M802 and M812

The M802 (proximity only) and M812 (iCLASS® only) configurations of the Access 800® IP1 provide a higher level of security by utilizing proximity or iCLASS credentials only. The lock is programmed utilizing LMT or approved third party access control software (via SDK). This configuration is ideal for higher traffic applications where keypad usage is less desirable.

M803 and M813

The M803 (proximity/keypad) and M813 ( iCLASS /keypad) versions of the IP1 offers the highest level of security and flexibility. Programming and security management is done utilizing LMT or approved third party access control software (via SDK). The M803 and M813 can be programmed to require both PIN code and proximity or iCLASS credentials to gain entry or proximity/ iCLASS only.

Mortise Lock ML20800

Featuring Ecoflex™ technology, the one-piece escutcheon of the motorized mortise lock product has a clean, crisp design and is available with a variety of lever designs and hardware finishes. ML20800 mortise locks are ideal for business and facility entrances, computer room areas, telephone rooms, health clubs, and child care facilities.

Auxiliary Latchbolt

9/16" (14mm) effective throw and 3/8" (10mm) effective auxiliary latch deadlocking.

Deadbolt

One-piece stainless steel, 19/32" (15mm) x 1-1/4" (32mm) x 1" (25mm) throw.

Lever Trim

Free floating, to fit doors 1-3/4" (44mm) to 2-1/4" (57mm) ; see Quick Code section.

Steel, 5/16" (8mm).

The motorized Access 800® CL33800 design provides uniformity when used with other Corbin Russwin CL3300 locks at a facility. Access 800 products offer access control solutions for meeting rooms, country club locker rooms and assisted living facilities. The product features three different lever designs, seven hardware finishes and cylinder override.

Management Tool

Lock Management Tool

Lock Management Tool™ allows programming, interrogation and overall management from a centralized location for up to 50 doors. The application facilitates communication from a computer to the Access 800® IP1 locks via 802.3af PoE infrastructure. Lock Management Tool is a program that allows an administrator to establish multiple user types, time zones, holidays, user groups, auto-unlock periods and to obtain transaction history from all locks connected to the system. The Lock Management Tool consists of a server based installation (a small workstation will be sufficient) with most of the daily administration and configuration being done through a web browser.

ML20800 x TCIP1 Series Mortise Locks

Intelligent Power over Ethernet (PoE) Access Control

  • 1. PoE access control mortise locks shall be ML20800 Series as manufactured by Corbin Russwin Architectural Hardware of Berlin, CT.
  • 2. BHMA certified extra heavy duty, lever type mortise lock conforming to ANSI 156.13 Series 1000, Grade 1 standard and ANSI A117.1 accessibility guidelines. Motorized locking control of lever handle trim (solenoids not acceptable) with 3/4" anti-friction deadlocking latch and 1" case hardened steel deadbolt. UL listed and labeled for up to 3 hour fire rated openings.
  • 3. PoE access control locks interface to the electronic access control (EAC) system via a direct 10/100 TCP/IP connection. Integration with third party EAC systems is easily accomplished using a Software Development Kit (SDK) or Door Service Router (DSR). Locks will continue to function at the door independent of Ethernet (LAN) connection slowdown or failure.
